Elo TouchSystems will be demonstrating its new touch screen technology and a new gaming touch monitor at ATEI London later this month.
A solution to the demand for touch games on a completely flat surface, the company’s new bartop technology will operate through a wide range of glass surfaces, including the 12mm safety glass built into the tops of many bars.
Elo is offering the system with its 1547L LCD monitor, which can be mounted either under or behind a flat piece of glass and doesn’t have to be recessed into the bartop. As a result it is unaffected by dirt and spillages.
The company’s multifunction 1229L touch monitor includes options for a rear-facing customer display, a fingerprint recognition system and a magnetic stripe reader, which can read ID cards, credit cards and even customer loyalty cards.
The monitor is available with a choice of Elo’s touch technologies and can be used in such gaming applications as casino pit, cash cage, player tracking, casino table management, bingo and customer loyalty schemes.
